Prof. Guangming Li

Biography:

Prof. Guangming Li, professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University. Engaged in water pollution control and recycling, wastes management and recovery technologies such as urban solid waste, electronic waste, kitchen and organic waste, waste tires and plastics, and hazardous wastes, as well as urban ecological environment and low-carbon sustainable development technology and innovation planning research.He presided over and participated in more than ten major science and technology research projects under the National "Tenth Five Year Plan" 863, the Ministry of Science and Technology Support Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and local governments. Since 2004, I have been involved in the formulation of medium and long-term scientific and technological development plans in Shanghai, serving as the leader of the Ecological Shanghai Special Group, participating in the formulation of Shanghai's "11th Five Year Plan", "12th Five Year Plan", "13th Five Year Plan", and "14th Five Year Plan" scientific and technological development plans, and serving as the leader of the Ecological Shanghai or People's Livelihood Special Group; Participate in the special planning, implementation management, promotion, and application of the World Expo Science and Technology Action Plan. We have conducted exchanges and cooperation with the German University of Technology Berlin, the University of East Anglia in the UK, Japan Construction Engineering Corporation, the Italian Federation for Waste Plastic Recycling, and Thailand Green Rubber.Served as the Deputy Director of the Department of Chemistry (1996-1999), Executive Deputy Director of the Training Center of Higher Technical College (2000-2001), and Deputy Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering (2003-2010), responsible for teaching, research, training, and graduate management work. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Tongji University (2010 present), responsible for industry university research cooperation and the service and management of scientific and technological achievements. Published over 200 research papers in mainstream academic journals both domestically and internationally in this field of expertise; Editor in chief/co editor of 10 academic monographs and textbooks; Apply for more than 10 authorized patents.

Biography:

Qin Mingzhou, Second-class Professor, Returned Scholar from the United States, Doctoral supervisor. Chairman of Henan Land Society. Prof. Jingcheng Xu

Biography:

Prof. Jingcheng Xu is a doctoral supervisor at Tongji University. He has long been engaged in research, engineering practice, teaching and management in the fields of water pollution control and management, deep treatment and resource utilization of wastewater, municipal drainage, and industrial process pollution control. As a project leader, he has presided over more than 30 scientific research projects; as a project leader, he has engaged in more than 30 industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater treatment engineering design and consulting; he has edited and participated in 13 textbooks and books; he has published more than 100 papers, of which more than 40 have been indexed in SCI, EI and SITP.

Researcher, Zhiqiang Liu

National Engineering Laboratory of Coal Mine Deep Well Construction Technology, China

Biography:

Zhiqiang Liu, born in November 1962 in Xushui, Hebei, is a doctoral researcher and doctoral supervisor. He is an expert in drilling and drilling technology and equipment, the first level chief scientist of China Coal Science and Technology Group, and the deputy director of the National Engineering Center for Deep Mine Construction Technology. I have been engaged in research on the theory, technology, equipment, and process of mechanical rock breaking drilling for a long time. I have led and completed 12 scientific research projects such as national scientific and technological breakthroughs, scientific and technological support, the "863" plan, and special funds. With funding from the key projects of the "12th Five Year Plan" and "863", I have served as the leader in developing the first set of pilot shaft vertical shaft tunneling machines in China and organized the completion of industrial test applications; Propose and practice the "one expansion well" drilling technology for vertical shaft drilling rigs; In response to drilling difficulties such as large volume rock breaking, slag removal, and support, we have overcome the technical bottleneck of low energy rock breaking with toothed roller cutters, and organized the development of the largest reverse well drilling rig and upward reverse well drilling rig in China.

Prof. Farhad SHAHNIA

Murdoch University, Australia

Biography:

Prof. Farhad SHAHNIA have been a researcher since 2008 first as aPhD student, then Research Fellow and then during my e,mployment as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at three universities (Queensland University of Technology, Curtin University, and Murdoch University). His research falls under Distribution networks, Microgrid and Smart grid concepts. He has authored one book and 11 book chapters and 100+ peer-reviewed scholarly articles in international conferences and journals, as well as being an editor of 6 books. I have won 5 Best Paper Awards in various conferences and has also received the IET Premium Award for the Best Paper published in the IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution journal in 2015. One of his articles was listed under the top-25 most cited articles in the Electric Power System Research Journal in 2015 while one of his 2015 journal articles has been listed under the top-5 most read articles of the Australian Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He was the recipient of the Postgraduate Research Supervisor Award from Curtin University in 2015 and the Australia-China Young Scientist Exchange Award from the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering in 2016.

Prof. SURESH KUMAR

Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, India

Biography:

Prof. SURESH KUMAR Served as Dean (R&D) and Dean (Engineering) for two years at Vishwakarma Skill University. Worked on policy documents, Ph.D. regulations, research policy, documents related to Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and curriculum design aligned with NSQF levels. Initiated pilot project on RPL for higher education for employees of JBM. State of the art CNC machines lab, welding lab, solar lab, advanced electrical lab have been developed during my tenure as Dean (Engineering).

Academician and researcher with more than 25 years of professional experience having academic and administrative leadership skills. Worked as Head of Department, Associate Dean, Dean (Engineering), Dean (Academics) and Director(Engineering College). Knowledge of processes of education 4.0 and NBA/NAAC accreditation and NEP 2020. Achieved academic excellence at Institute/department level by developing industry based curriculum, implementing OBE, improving teaching-learning process, conceptualizing student leadership, building industry partners for curriculum delivery, project based learning, faculty development, attracting external research grants and building alumni network. Taught courses of mechanical engineering/energy engineering at UG/PG level and guided PhDs in area of solar thermal, exergy and refrigeration. Published research articles in reputed journals published by Elsevier, Taylor & Francis and Springer, and in proceedings of ASME/ISES conferences. Fetched research grants from DST. Experienced in operation and maintenance of high pressure steam boilers, turbines, sugar mills, pumps. Chaired Board of Studies of UPES Dehradun and Uttarakhand Technical University and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University.

Prof. Baoyou Liu

Biography:

Baoyou Liu, male, born in February 1973, doctoral degree. He has presided over and completed 1 project of Provincial Natural Fund, 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 7 projects of Hebei Science and Technology Tackling Program, and 1 research result of Hebei Mountain Entrepreneurship Award. He has applied for 11 invention patents, 8 of which have been authorized, and published more than 30 academic papers, more than 20 of which have been indexed by SCI or EI. At present, he is responsible for 3 vertical and horizontal projects, with more than 200,000 yuan of disposable scientific research funds. The main research direction is green chemistry and application technology, including the preparation and application of ionic liquids and photoelectric material intermediates.

Biography:

Associate Professor Haochen Zhu is a Master's supervisor at Tongji University. His research interests include water pollution control and management and high quality drinking water treatment based on membrane technology. His research focuses on the pressure-driven membrane transfer mechanism and membrane processes represented by nanofiltration membranes, the controllable preparation and surface modification of separation membrane materials for water treatment, and the basic and applied research on electrically driven membrane processes.

Assoc. Prof. Chua Kein Huat

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia

Biography:

Ir. Dr. Chua Kein Huat serves as an Associate Professor at the esteemed Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science, UTAR. His research endeavors primarily revolve around crucial domains such as Energy Management, Energy Audit, Carbon Accounting, Lightning Protection System, Power Quality, and Railway Electrification. Demonstrating his commitment to academia, he concurrently holds the prestigious position of Chairperson at the Center for Railway Infrastructure and Engineering (CRIE) within UTAR. Throughout his illustrious career, Ir. Dr. Chua has been actively engaged in knowledge dissemination through conducting over 200 training sessions and workshops across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea in the past 14 years. Recognized for his expertise, he is an accredited trainer by the HRDC and holds certifications as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) conferred by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) since 2016.

Biography:

Associate Professor Rongkui Su has been extensively involved in research in the fields of wastewater treatment and resource utilization, environmental management, and ecological restoration. Over the past three years, he has led or participated in more than 10 national and provincial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Top Project, and Hunan Provincial "Unveiling the List of Commanders" Project. He has published over 70 papers in prestigious academic journals/conferences both domestically and internationally. As a first or corresponding author, he has contributed to 16 SCI papers, 2 Nature Index papers, 5 ESI highly cited papers, 1 hot paper, 7 papers within Zone I of CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences), as well as a monograph. Additionally, he holds 8 patents and has written 12 soft writings. His research findings have been featured in Chemical Reviews (the top journal in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering with an impact factor of 72.087 for the year 2022) and he was honored with recognition as "the most outstanding scientist in the field of chemical engineering" by Academician Beletskaya I.P.

Prof. Wenzhi He

Biography:

Wenzhi He, Ph.D., is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University. His research involves solid waste treatment and resource utilization, organic waste treatment and hydrothermal resource utilization, supercritical fluid technology, extraction and separation of natural products, and synthesis of polymer compounds. He has presided over or undertaken 15 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Support Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Expo Science and Technology Special Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Science and Technology Tackling Project of Shanghai Municipality, etc. He has published more than 140 papers in domestic and international academic journals, and has applied for 15 invention patents. His research achievements have won two second and one third prizes of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress, and one second prize of Shanghai Industry-University-Research Cooperation Excellent Project; in 2011, he was awarded the title of "Advanced Individual in Expo Science and Technology" by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China; he is also a member of the Expert Committee of the China Renewable Resource Industry Technological Innovation Strategy Alliance. He is also a member of "China Renewable Resources Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance" and "China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Renewable Metals Branch Academic Committee".

Prof. Jianwei Fan is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University. He has long been engaged in teaching, scientific research and transformation of results in the field of environmental science and engineering, and is committed to the research and application of water and air pollution control and resource utilization, environmental planning and environmental impact assessment. He has presided over more than ten national and provincial scientific research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, etc., and the relevant research results are widely used in the application of purification, treatment and resource utilization of wastewater and exhaust gas. He is the editor of "Water Supply Engineering" and co-editor of "Water Supply Engineering" and "Combined Process of Wastewater Treatment". He has published more than 60 articles, including more than 30 SCI papers in international journals, such as J. Mater. Chem. A, Energy Environ. He has published more than 30 SCI papers in international journals such as J. Mater. He has applied for more than 50 invention patents and 3 PCT patents, and 25 of them have been authorized. Zafar Said is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sustainable Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Sharjah. He also works as Adjunct Faculty at the U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E) National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. He works in the field of Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, Heat Transfer, AI, optimization, Nanofluids, BTMS, NePCM, and nanolubricants.
